Why do I want it?
eCare® Online aggregates dozens of government and national commercial payers so users can obtain all their claim status and eligibility information at one site. Local and regional payers can be added on a case-by-case basis as well.
Working in a real-time environment at the point of registration, staff can quickly verify coverage, co-pay amounts, deductibles and increase up-front collections while reducing denials and rejections
Additional features make this a useful tool for both the front and backend operations. Batch processing of Self Pay accounts automatically determines Medicaid coverage, and address verification functions help to work returned mail. UPIN and NPI lookups, BCBSIL Inpatient Pre-cert and Medical Necessity tools round out the value of our browser-based system.

How does it work?
There is no cost to sign up for eCare® Online. Interested facilities fill out simple registration forms and receive usernames and initial passwords from Nebo.
Typical claim status information includes things such as Settlement Date, Settlement Amounts, Deductible, Co-insurance, Co-payment, Claim Messages and Denial Reason Messages.
